Area recommendations
Although we don't live in the area, we have been visiting for over 15 years. We have gotten to know some of the locals well, and this is a list of suggestions.

Restaurants
Just five minutes west of the cabin is one of the best restaurants in the UP. It's our favorite spot, not only because it's close.
This restaurant is slightly more expensive than other restaurants in the area, but you won't be disappointed.
Another great place to eat is about 30 minutes away by car or 20 minutes by ATV or snowmobile.
A great breakfast spot in Munising; get there early to avoid a long line. The pancakes are highly recommended.

Shopping & groceries
The closest grocery store to the cabin. Great name, too!
This store is also a dollar tree, lots of items if you forgot something on your trip.
A great hardware store with plenty of hunting and fishing supplies.
Want to bring souvenirs home? Das Gift Haus has plenty to offer.
