Cabin reviews

Pat was super responsive

He made it feel like we were staying at a friends house. His cabin is so nice and peaceful. It felt just the movie Great Outdoors minus the bear. Wi-Fi was great.

Beautiful space in a beautiful place.

Spacious home with screened porch, large deck, fire pit, wonderful kitchen space, and plenty of beds for our large party. Peaceful and away from town but close enough to town for any needed amenities. Loved it and will return.

Everything you could hope for...and more

From booking, to arrival and to when we sadly had to depart; this place exceeds expectations. Everything you could hope for in a cabin in the woods and more. Love the house the surroundings the town the national park it was perfect. Can’t wait to return for a much longer visit next time hopefully!

Perfect place for our UP trip

The cabin was gorgeous, homey, and had every essential we need plus many additional. The kitchen was well stocked: a delightful coffee bar, crockpot, instapot, pots and pans, sharp knives, etc. You can definitely see the planning and beautiful details that have been given to this cabin. The beds were comfortable. The couches were a dream. The outside was peaceful. We had plenty of space for our family to spread out. Our family was sad to leave this wonderful home. If we ever find ourselves back in the UP, I will definitely book this lovely cabin again.

This airbnb is a 11/10

Our host went out of his way to make our stay phenomenally accommodating. The house was spacious enough for our whole crew of 8, and the provisions were top notch; including everything from coffee and syrups to sandwich bags and parchment paper to soaps and shampoos to bug spray and fly swatters. Sitting each morning on the master bedroom’s private balcony watching the sunrise with coffee in hand made each morning off to a great start. Spending the evenings around the fire watching the cranes fly over the lake ended the days just as great as the beginning. The hot water heater was able to keep up well with back-to-back showers and the top of the line kitchen wear made preparing meals a breeze. Our host was quick to respond to our needs and made us feel very welcome. This place made for a perfect pictured rocks family vacation.

Everything was top notch

This cabin was amazing.. completely remodeled beautifully. Everything was top notch with so many special extra touches like a cute coffee bar, top of
the line appliances and furniture, comfortable new beds and bedding, games, huge TV.... yet maintaining the character of a cozy cabin in the woods. Pat is a great host, easy to communicate with, and he provided helpful information about the area which made our trip to the Upper Peninsula so
memorable. We would love to return again sometime soon!
